The sole purpose of “gender” is to uphold the patriarchal oppression of women. That’s it. Period. “Gender” confiscates the good stuff (important, powerful, lucrative, self-directed, coveted, serious, etc.) for “masculine” people and relegates the not-so-good stuff (unimportant, trivial, cute, weak, impoverished, dependent, other-directed, unwanted, frivolous) to “feminine” people, per the dictates of Patriarchy. “Gender” oppresses women. “Gender” kills women. Why Gendering Human Beings is Creepy:
Biological Sex is Real — Gendering Everything Else is False, Limiting, Sexist and a Lie.

Seriously, the stuff we like and do does not influence what sex we are, and vice versa. It is just “stuff we like and do.” A dude can like chapstick, knitting, and tea whilst still being a dude, a woman can be fascinated with machines and gear and put on pants and do math while still being a woman. Pretty easy concept, actually, and quite liberating. Woo hoo, we can do what we want and not have to offer (often creepily medicalized) justification!
